Help Us Give Back to Aunt Dianne –
A Lifelong Caregiver Who Needs Us Now
Hi, my name is Jamie. For as long as I can remember, my Aunt Dianne Daviau - also known as "Miss D" - has been the kind of person you could always count on.
She has opened her heart and home to family, friends, and even strangers in need. Whether it was offering a place to stay, cooking a hot meal, or volunteering at shelters and churches,
Aunty Dianne has always been there—without hesitation, without asking for anything in return.
Now, she needs our help.
Since the age of 36, my Aunt Dianne has courageously battled multiple cancers and has lived with hemochromatosis—a condition that may have led to cirrhosis of the liver.
Despite never smoking or being a drinker, she now faces even more devastating health challenges: interstitial lung disease and liver failure.
Three years ago, doctors gave her just 3 ½ years to live, but in true Dianne fashion, she didn’t give up.
She turned to holistic medicine, educating herself and quietly enduring the ups and downs of her condition. She never wanted to burden those around her.
But over the last year or so, her health has taken a serious turn—her liver and lungs are failing, and time is running out. After months of research, we believe that stem cell therapy at the Stem Cell Institute in Panama is her best chance at survival.
But treatment is expensive, and despite selling her car, her truck, and personal belongings to keep up with her bills and attempt to fund her care, she still needs financial support.
The last year has been filled with extended hospital stays, where doctors reminded her that her lung disease is progressive and will not improve on its own. Anyone who knows my Aunty Dianne knows how much she has given to others.
She has spent her life caring for the elderly, ensuring they live with dignity and quality, rather than in nursing homes.
She has helped countless people when they had nowhere else to turn. She has always put others before herself. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help my Aunt Dianne get the treatment she desperately needs. Every bit of support—whether financial or simply spreading the word—brings her closer to hope, healing, and more precious time with those who love her.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
