As many of you know, my dogs are my kids. Today, when we took Dex to the vet, we were not expecting such devastating news. They found fluids around his heart and lungs, as well as a mass on his heart that is likely cancerous. We are taking him to a cardiologist to get an ECHO tomorrow and possibly a CT scan if they recommend it.

We have spent about $2,500 so far and expect that tomorrow will cost anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000 additionally. I am at a loss for words and honestly don't know how much more time I have with him. All I know is I want as much time as I can buy because he deserves that. Anything is appreciated. Please share.
