Derrick courageously fought his battle with cancer with dignity and honor and on 05/23/2025 surrounded by family he passed at age 57.
Derrick Weaver was a wonderful Son, Brother, Father,Grandfather, and friend, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind loving Mother Diane (nee Moncrief). Beloved brother of Richard (Michele) , Scott Weaver. Upon his death, he was greeted in heaven with open arms by his late loving Father Richard and his best friend and Twin Brother Eric, and Kelly Reidy.
He was a Loving Father of Derrick, Jordan, Sean (Nicole), Douglass, Angel (Rocco),and also survived by Grandchildren : ( Douglass, Carson, Lilah, Rocco, Serenity, Anakin. loving nieces , nephews and friends.
Derrick dedicated his life to always being there and supporting his family. This was this greatest priorities He would always actively listen to family members, offering understanding and encouragement during difficult and memorable times to improve the lives of those closest to him, creating a supportive and loving environment for the ones who knew him best.
He enjoyed working and spending time with family. while going through treatment he had endless energy that radiated positivity to everyone around him. He never wanted anyone to know when he was wasn’t feeling good and even the thought made him do more. He was always there to give a helping hand or ride to anyone who needed it.
We are all devastated by Derrick’s loss and due to his untimely passing the family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give the memorial the surviving family deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes to the patriarch of our family.
I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Derrick’s Cremation and Funeral Services . We need to raise $10,000 by in order to be able to afford the funeral service. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.This Financial burden is truly unexpected.
Derrick was a fun loving and humorous person, enjoyed life to its fullest and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are called to attend his viewing and services Thursday May 29th from 5-8pm at BALDI FUNERAL HOME 1331 S Broad Street (AMPLE PARKING ON PREMISES) Interment will be held privately.
