Our beloved Denasja has been bravely battling Lupus since she was just 15 years old. Diagnosed at a young age, she faced the reality of a chronic illness with strength beyond her years. For the first part of her journey, she received specialized care in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Though the treatments helped her manage the disease, traveling to and from the city was a constant struggle, putting physical and emotional stress on Denasja and her family for over two years.

In an effort to ease the burden, Denasja transitioned her care closer to home in Kalamazoo. Unfortunately, during this time, her health took a devastating turn. She is now in the fight of her life.

Swelling in her brain has caused significant neurological complications, including strokes that have severely impacted her motor functions. Denasja is currently on life support, and her condition requires the immediate attention of a specialist with deep expertise in lupus treatment.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits, asking for your help. Your support will go toward the cost of her urgent medical care, travel, and continued treatment with a lupus specialist who can give her a fighting chance.
