Give Delta a Second Chance at Life
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Bradley, and I’m reaching out for support for my dog Delta — a sweet, resilient Doberman who just survived a life-threatening medical emergency.
Delta’s story began on the streets of downtown Indianapolis, where he was found malnourished, scared, and fighting to survive. He was rescued once before — given a second chance at life, love, and safety. We took him in after that, and he quickly became part of our family. Despite everything he’s been through, Delta has always been full of love, loyalty, and life.
But a few nights ago, we almost lost him.
Delta suddenly collapsed, foaming at the mouth, unresponsive, and visibly in extreme pain. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we were told he was suffering from Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) — a life-threatening condition where the stomach twists and cuts off blood flow. Without immediate surgery, dogs don’t survive this. It’s one of the most urgent and dangerous emergencies a dog can face.
The surgery saved his life — but now we’re faced with the massive financial burden of this unexpected emergency. Between the procedure, hospital stay, medication, and ongoing care, the costs are overwhelming. We’ve done everything to give Delta the life he deserves, and we’re not giving up now. But we need help.
Delta has already fought through one rescue — this is his second chance again. He deserves to keep living the life he finally found after so much pain. If you can contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us — and to Delta. Even just sharing this campaign helps us get closer to covering his medical costs.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for reading, for caring, and for giving Delta a fighting chance.
