Give Deaner the Beautiful Farewell She Deserves

On June 2, 2025, our beloved Phyllis Dean Neeley, known by so many as Deaner, was unexpectedly called home. Born on August 1, 1961, Deaner was the kind of woman who left a lasting impact on every life she touched.

She had a heart of gold, loved hard, and never hesitated to put others before herself. Family meant everything to her, her children, grandchildren, nieces/nephews, siblings, friends and loved ones were her whole world. She was the glue that held her family together, and her absence has left a hole that words can’t fill.

Deaner was strong, stronger than most. She fought through more in her lifetime than many could imagine, always with grace and grit. No matter what life threw at her, she faced it head-on, never giving up, and always finding a way to love through the pain.

She leaves behind a large and loving family, including so many grandchildren who adored her beyond words. To them, she wasn’t just “maw-maw” she was a safe place, a warm hug, and the heart of every family gathering.

We’re asking for help to give Deaner the beautiful farewell she deserves. Her passing was sudden, and her children are now trying to handle not only their grief but the unexpected financial burden of planning her funeral and burial.
