Honoring the Life and Legacy of Dennis (DD) Uzoh
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Chief Dennis (DD) Ndubuisi Uzoh, on February 4th, 2025. After years of battling end-stage renal disease, going into remission from multiple myeloma, and losing his sight in 2020, our dad fought relentlessly. His strength and determination were beyond measure. Even in his final days, when he was placed on life support and coded more than 20 times, his heart kept going—proving just how strong and resilient he was.
Dennis was not only a fighter but a man with a heart full of love. He was a devoted father, husband, brother, grandfather, and friend. His kindness, generosity, and loyalty touched everyone around him. He loved fiercely and gave everything he had to his family, always putting others first. His wisdom and warmth will never be forgotten.
While we are deeply saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. He may be gone, but his legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to guide us.
In keeping with our father’s wishes, we are working to send his body back to Nigeria, where he will be laid to rest surrounded by the love of family and his home country. We’ve set up this memorial fund to assist with the costs of transporting him and honoring his life. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be a great help and deeply appreciated.
Thank you for keeping our dad in your thoughts and prayers. We will forever carry his memory in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Dad. We love you always. ️
