Give Dave a Much-Needed Resort Break for his birthday.

Hello, Facebook family and friends. It’s been a long, tough couple of years for me and things don’t look like they will get any better. It all started when COVAiD hit and at the same time the limp I had turned into a disability. It turned out that I had a collapsed hip joint in my left hip which required a full hip replacement. I had that procedure in January of 2022. I also had a hernia that requires surgery but I chose to go with the hip replacement first. The hernia keeps getting worse so I had that surgery planned in June of 2024 but had to postpone it because the doctors at the VA discovered a tumor on my right adrenal gland that affects the cortisone levels in my body the doctors decided that the cancer should be removed along with that adrenal gland. That surgery was scheduled two weeks ago but got posoned because I had a cough and their protocol is to not do surgery. So the surgery is not scheduled for Sept 18. Meanwhile through all this testing I had them look into some other pain. One was lower back which after thorough evaluation it has been determined that surgery is required. The they checked out my left should and found a tear in my lebrum. So through all these pitfalls I have been surviving. Well for my birthday I would lke go relax and destress at a resort in Orlando. Unfortunately I am living off 60% VA disablity pay which isn't much but I can get by on it. I'm reaching out to you because I hope that I would have friends, family, ex-coworkers, and prior shipmates that would be generous enough to pitch in for 2 night stay for me at a nice Orlanfo Resort. Please do what you can. I will be gratefull. God bless
