Give Daniel Sidor a funeral and a burial.

Hello, my name is Nathan Sidor. Last night my brother's heart gave out on him, and he died in his sleep. He was 45 years old. It was a terrible shock and took us completely by surprise. My father had a brush with death just last week, and paying his hospital bills wiped out my savings. My family broke the piggy bank to pay for my fathers medical expenses. Now suddenly, my brother Daniel Sidor has passed away. I do not have enough money to cover the funeral and burial. He is in the funeral home now, and I do not have money to pay for the funeral, his extra long coffin (Daniel was almost 7 feet tall) or his plot in the cemetery. I am desperate for help. My brother grew up on a farm between Hairy Hill, Two Hills and Vegreville Alberta. Daniel was a firefighter and an oil worker, and before he died, he started a business in the Philippines selling renewable energy systems ( to help fight climate change). He could be smart, and he could be a dumbass. He was very knowledgeable about some things, and other times, he was clueless. That never stopped him, though. If he believed something, there was no stopping his conviction. I learned a lot from my older brother....mainly not to do the stupid things he did when he was younger. If you knew Daniel and he touched your lives in some small positive way, please help me give him a proper funeral and burial so that he can rest in peace.

I can not believe the support I got from doing this campaign. I was overcome so many times by the outpouring of support and messages. And not just for Daniel but for my dad and me as well. I am so grateful. We reached the goal I set to pay for Daniels's Funeral and burial. At the time, that was all I was focused on. Now I am coming to grips with what I must do next to get Daniels's affairs in order here in the Philippines and Canada. As well as taking care of my Dad. I will keep this fundraiser going because I am not out of the woods yet, and many people still want to help. When the weight of everything was drowning me...my family's friends threw me a lifeline. I do not know how I would be managing without all of you. Giving a THANK YOU does not do justice to how I feel about everyone that has been there for us.
