Although GoFundMe does not currently support the Philippines, we know there are many in the U.S. who know Janeth, Richard, and the Cisneros family and would want to help. They urgently need funds for a critical surgery, and we hope to raise enough so they can focus on being together, finding rest, and beginning the healing process. Janeth lived with our family when we were in the Philippines, caring for our children, and we have always considered her part of our own family. Here is a letter from Janeth, Daniels mom...

Dear Friends, Family, and Generous Supporters,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. My name is Janeth Cisneros, and I am the mother of Lee Daniel Cisneros, a 24-year-old with a heart full of dreams, faith, and hope.

In November 2024, Daniel’s life took an unexpected turn when he suffered a devastating stroke that left him paralyzed on the left side of his body. The stroke also caused serious kidney complications. After managing a blood clot in his brain, Daniel had to undergo nine emergency dialysis sessions due to high creatinine levels — a sign that his kidneys were struggling.

The medical journey has been long and challenging. The doctors had to place a catheter for urine discharge, but it got damaged. As a result, they inserted a tube directly into his bladder as a temporary measure. Unfortunately, this is not a permanent solution. Daniel now urgently requires surgery to unblock his urethra, allowing him to pass urine easily and prevent further complications.

The cost of the surgery is $9,500, a significant financial burden for our family.

Daniel's story doesn't stop with his health struggles. He had big dreams and was set to graduate this year, with plans to become a culinary chef. His passion for food, creativity, and serving others is what kept him going — but right now, his focus is on recovery. In addition to his love for cooking, Daniel is also a singer and is actively involved in the worship ministry at our church, ICOC Cavite, Philippines. His faith and love for God have always been central to his life, and this has been a source of strength for our entire family during this incredibly difficult time.

We are reaching out to you, our community, with humble hearts, asking for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward his surgery and recovery, giving Daniel the chance to heal and work toward the life he had been dreaming of. Your kindness will not only help cover medical expenses but will also give him the opportunity to walk again, sing again, and ultimately pursue his dream of becoming a culinary chef.
