My brother Dan — the brightest light in our family, and the person who could make anyone laugh even on their hardest days. Dan is nearing the end of his fight with cancer, and our hearts are breaking as we prepare to say goodbye much sooner than we ever imagined.

Dan was the kindest, most loving brother, father, son, and friend. He had this incredible way of making people feel seen and welcomed. He could walk into any room and instantly lift the mood with his goofy jokes, his warm smile, and that unforgettable laugh. Anyone who met him loved him — it was impossible not to.

He’s leaving behind three amazing sons who adored their dad more than anything, and a family who will miss him in ways words will never fully capture. Losing him is something we never wanted to imagine.

We are asking, with heavy hearts, for help to give Dan a beautiful, dignified farewell. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward his funeral costs and will ease a tremendous burden during an unbearably painful time. Dan did not deserve this, but he does deserve the most beautiful goodbye.
