PLEASE HELP GIVE CYNTHIA A SECOND CHANCE TO LIFE

Hello everyone, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, but surely with a glimmer of hope. My name is Callista Ihuoma Ihejirika and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister Cynthia Kelechi Ihuoma who is currently in need of a kidney transplant. Cynthia is a 35-year-old female who was first diagnosed with hypertension at the young age of 21. She has battled this chronic ailment for over a decade, but unfortunately, it has led to severe damage to her kidneys.

Cynthia is a very vibrant and hard-working lady, who loves life, extends so much kindness and is always ready to help everyone. However, in August 2023, she became very ill, easily fatigued, constantly vomiting and unable to keep any food or liquid down. Her face, abdomen, and legs started to retain fluids and swell up, she was unable to perform activities of daily living, and required assistance moving around. Her doctor, after diagnostic testing and blood work, diagnosed her with End Stage Kidney Failure. Since then, she has had to stop work to take care of her health, and also start dialysis.

Cynthia is currently on dialysis three times a week, however, her health is fast deteriorating, as the dialysis is taking a toll on her already frail body. She's been in and out of the hospital, and her doctors have advised she gets a kidney transplant as soon as possible due to her deteriorating health.

A lot of money (out of pocket) have gone towards her treatments and medical bills. I have created this GoFundMe to help with the costs of the transplant and recovery.
