Give Rodney Lucas a Peaceful Rest

I’m Rodney Lucas’ daughter Courtney and I’m creating this in hopes to help raise money for my father’s funeral expenses. I found my father the morning of 11/8/2024 he had taken his own life in his Hinkle truck. My father was a larger than life personality. He did so much for so many. I’m now asking if you could make a small donation in his honor. He has went through the darkest times more recently. He thought all hope was gone, out of his retirement, out of funds and hope. He didn’t get rid of the darkness, it feels like he just handed it over. I’m not sure where to begin for a funeral at this time. My fathers pride is what killed him and I know he would hate me for this but I am left with no other option then to ask his friends and family for any sort of monetary assistance in these times. All of his payments were due the 1st and unfortunately this was his only way he seen out I guess.. He would give people the shirt off of his back, but even much more.. I unfortunately found out he wasn’t up to date on his union dues but was a union carpenter since the age of 18.. he worked harder than any other person I’ve ever met. His work ethic and pride was admirable. I think that’s what killed him being in this situation. I thank you in advance if you’ve even read this far. The world feels emptier without my daddy and I just want a peaceful rest for him to be by my sister.
