My name is Steven Kim, and my family and I are the proud, loving owners of two dogs, Coca and Cola. They came into our lives during COVID, at a time when the world felt isolated and uncertain. While we were stuck at home, they brought laughter, comfort, and a sense of togetherness that helped our family get through one of the hardest periods of our lives.

For the past five years, Coca and Cola have been more than pets — they are family. They’ve grown up with us, filled our home with joy, and reminded us every day what unconditional love looks like.

Recently, our world was turned upside down. After noticing something unusual, we received devastating news: Coca was diagnosed with grade 2 sarcoma, an aggressive cancer with a rapidly growing mass. She is still young, full of energy, and loves running around and playing with her sister. Seeing her face this battle is heartbreaking because sickness was the last thing we ever expected.

Right now, surgery is her best chance to fight this cancer and give her more healthy years with us. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is far beyond what our family can manage alone. We are doing everything we can, but we need help.

Coca is the dog who wakes us up with kisses, follows us everywhere, and gently scratches our legs just to ask for love and attention. She has given our family so much happiness — and now we are asking for help to give her a fighting chance.
