Help Clout Chaser Get the Care She Deserves

Update: Clout Chaser—now called Tina—was pulled from the shelter by Freddie’s Furry Friends and is in a loving foster home. She has had a vet consultation, where her rescue learned she is a good candidate for surgery—excellent news! She is now scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. We are raising $1,000 to go toward her care. An invoice will be provided once the rescue receives it.

Clout Chaser is a gentle little soul who arrived at Cincinnati Animal CARE in heartbreaking condition. She’s a tiny senior—just 7.5 lbs—with a calm and sweet demeanor, despite all she's endured.

When she came to the shelter, she was suffering from:

The shelter team cleaned her up, shaved away the painful matting, and began topical treatments for her skin. But due to the limits of a basic municipal shelter clinic, she can’t receive the full veterinary care she needs while still at the shelter.

She Can’t Get Full Medical Care Until She Has Placement

Cincinnati Animal CARE is not equipped to perform complex surgery or advanced diagnostics. In order to pursue further medical treatment—or even assess whether surgery is possible—Clout Chaser must be placed with a rescue group or adopter.

She deserves comfort and peace in her final chapter. Right now, she’s stuck in limbo, waiting for someone to give her that chance.

What Will Donations Cover?

We’ve set a fundraising goal of $2,000, based on veterinary cost research and similar cases. This is just a guesstimate, though, and this amount may be adjusted up or down as more information becomes available once she’s in a safe placement and seen by a full-service vet.

Funds will be used to cover her veterinary care once she is out of the shelter and in a placement that can provide it.

What If We Raise More Than She Needs?
