Help Maria Clara Continue Her Treatment and Have a Better Quality of Life
Maria Clara is a very special child, full of light, joy, and a strength that inspires everyone around her. Even facing challenges from a very young age, she never loses her smile and touches everyone she meets with her sweetness and courage.
Now 7 years old, Maria Clara has been living with Leigh syndrome, a condition she was diagnosed with when she was just 2 years old. Since then, she has needed constant care and specialized support. Physical therapy has become an essential part of her routine, helping with her development, mobility, and overall quality of life.
Unfortunately, our family recently faced a very difficult situation: Maria Clara’s health insurance was canceled. As a result, all of her treatment costs are now out-of-pocket, making it extremely challenging to continue her therapy.
Currently, her treatment costs around $600 per week, which quickly becomes overwhelming over time. Our total goal is to raise $15,000, which would cover at least 6 months of continuous treatment—a crucial period for her progress.
We understand this is a high amount, so we are starting with an initial goal of $10,000, which would already allow Maria Clara to continue her therapy without interruption.
Each physical therapy session represents an important step in Maria Clara’s life—a step forward, an achievement, a new hope.
That’s why we are creating this fundraiser: to give Maria Clara the chance to continue receiving the care she truly needs. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask you to share this campaign with others. That alone helps us more than you know.
Thank you so much for being part of Maria Clara’s journey. With your support, she can keep fighting, growing, and living with more joy every single day
