Help Save Cinnamon — She Doesn’t Deserve This Pain
My name is Tyler, and I’m here because my dog Cinnamon — my baby, my best friend, my emotional anchor — is fighting for her life. I never thought I’d be in the position of having to ask strangers for help, but right now Cinnamon needs more than just love… she needs urgent medical care that I simply can’t afford on my own.
Cinnamon is suffering from a severe, painful infection that has taken over her skin, her paws, and even her elbows. Her once-strong paw pads have turned into raw, scarred skin. She smells like yeast because the infection is so deep it’s affecting her whole body. She’s limping from what may be a sprained or fractured ankle, and this morning she had a seizure that terrified me. I truly thought I was about to lose her.
When I rushed her to the vet, I was told the cost to treat her would be $1,000, and even worse, they said she may have cancer. That word shattered me. I love Cinnamon with all my heart — she has been with me through everything. She is the one constant in my life, the one soul who loves me without conditions.
And what hurts even more is the reason she’s so sick. While I was at work, Cinnamon was impregnated by another dog because of someone else’s neglect — not mine, but I’m the one left picking up the pieces. Her body has been fighting infection ever since, and the stress, the inflammation, and the complications may be the reason the vet is now concerned about cancer.
None of this is fair to her. She didn’t deserve this.
She shouldn’t be suffering because I’m broke, or because someone else didn’t care enough to protect her while I was trying to make a living.
I’m swallowing my pride because Cinnamon’s life matters more than my ego. She needs treatment, testing, medication, and care as soon as possible, and I simply don’t have the funds. I hate that I can’t fix this myself, but I refuse to let her suffer in silence.
If you can find it in your heart to help — even $5 — you will be giving Cinnamon a real chance to heal, to walk again without pain, to breathe without infection, to live without fear. You’ll be helping save a life that still has so much love left to give.
Thank you for reading, thank you for caring, and thank you for helping me fight for Cinnamon.
She means everything to me.
