Hi, my name is Kim and I have been a very close friend of Cindy's for many years. As some of you know, Cindy has been battling the symptoms of Muscular Dystrophy. In the last few years her symptoms have become much worse and for about a year and a half she has been unable to leave her home. Cindy has been in the hospital since October 8th. This last week has been a roller coaster of bad news, then a bit better news, to the worse news we could get. Our beautiful, incredibly kind and generous best friend and mother has left this earth far too soon. We are all in shock but are comforted that she has joined her parents whom she has missed greatly for many, many years.
Unfortunately, Cindy hasn't been able to work for awhile due to her declining health. Her sons and daughter in law have been supporting her and making sure her wants and needs were met, but there are no funds for services for Cindy. Cindy was the epitome of love and grace and our hope is to give her a farewell that shows our gratitude for her presence in our lives. I am a better person because she loved me.
Cindy was also an organ donor. She has always been an incredibly selfless person and she is giving life and hope to others that desperately need an organ transplant to survive.
On another note, if by the grace of God we meet our goal, any leftover funds will go to her sons William and Noah. They have supported their sweet mother so wonderfully and we would like to help them get the support they need in the rough road ahead.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our Cindy. Any donation is very much appreciated. If you are unable to donate we also appreciate prayers for her children.
