I am trying to raise money for my nephew who is currently in jail for something he did not do. He was with multiple boys, and the driver sent the police on a small chase that ended with them wrecking the car and fleeing from the police. He didn’t know what to do, so he just followed along. While the detective was investigating, he never spoke to my nephew, nor did they get him medical attention—only the other boys—and they were let go with lesser charges, and everything was pinned on my 17-year-old nephew. He's a good kid that was just in the wrong place and time, definitely with the wrong people. I am asking if you have it in your heart to donate so we may get him out on bond so he can continue school while his lawyer works to get his charges dismissed. We all make mistakes, and he’s young enough and has the support he needs to never make this mistake again and to choose different friends. He's still in school, he has good grades, he’s never in trouble, and he's a very respectful young man. Again, he was just with the wrong crowd of people. They just moved here about a year ago, so he was trying to make some friends.
