Give Chris a Chance to Breathe Freely Again

We are Nikki and Nikolai, Chris's parents and we are posting this GoFundMe to help our 4-year-old son receive his surgery. On December 1st of 2023, a mass showed up in his right nostril. Despite multiple doses of high-dose steroids and antibiotics, it did not subside. Since then, it has completely blocked his right nostril, making it very difficult for him to breathe. Now, most of the time, he is sleeping on our couch sitting up because if not, he can't catch his breath!

As a nurse and his advocate, It has been a long 7-month journey, after 3 different pediatric ENTs, a head and neck CT scan, an MRI with sedation and intubation, we have also found he has severely enlarged adenoids. The mass still has not been diagnosed as 3 different doctors are not sure what it is, but we do know it's not a foreign body. The surgical intervention is an endoscopy removal and biopsy to find out what this mass is AND adenoid removal. It is scheduled for this month

This process all year long has cost us out of pocket over 13 grand, and we still need to prepay $1820 for his surgery. Plus, I will be out of work at the hospital for a week so I can be home with him,what better nurse than his own mom to nurse him back to health? We are just asking for a little bit of help to get us through this tough time and get our sweet boy the medical interventions he desperately needs as well as all his follow ups that are over an hour away from our home.
