Help Northy (aka Charlie Bucket) Get the Care He Needs!
Tax deductible

Meet Northy, affectionately known as Charlie Bucket, a resilient little boy with a big heart! Northy came to the SPCA of Luzerne County as a stray, scared and uncertain. When we first met him, we weren’t even sure if he could walk. But this brave pup quickly proved us wrong by running and playing with joy, despite a visible disability in his back legs. His legs are weak and don’t function as they should, but that doesn’t stop him from living his life to the fullest.
Now, we want to give Northy the best chance at a happy, healthy future. We’re raising $6,000 to get a professional veterinary opinion to determine how we can help him. He may need surgery, or he may benefit from medications to reduce inflammation and pain. Either way, we want to make sure Northy is ready for his forever home.
Despite his challenges, Northy is full of love and gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids. He may have never lived in a house before, but with the right care, we know he’ll make a wonderful family companion. Please consider donating to help Northy get the care he deserves. Every dollar brings us closer to giving this sweet boy a new lease on life!
