Hi! My name is Charlie

On November 24, I was found wandering the streets. I was scared, confused, smelly, and covered in fleas that it made me loose my hair on my back. A kind woman stopped for me, even though I wasn’t in the best shape. She tried to help me find my way home, but I didn’t know where I belonged. she looked and she looked but Sadly, no one ever came looking for me. I was truly lost.

The kind lady gave me shelter and food she asked for help on many apps finally a wonderful man read my story and came to help , i got a a warm bath, my vaccines, and even he taught me how to walk on a leash. For the first time in a long while, I felt what it was like to just be a dog.

Three weeks later, something amazing happened. A kind couple came to meet me and told me they wanted to be my pawrents a real family. I was going to be an inside dog, safe, loved, and cared for. I was so happy knowing I could finally spend my senior years surrounded by love.

They took me to the vet for a full checkup to make sure I was healthy. Unfortunately, that’s when we found out I tested positive for heartworm disease. This diagnosis was unexpected, and treatment can be expensive, but my new pawrents are committed to giving me the best life possible.

I want to do my part to help them give me the healthy, happy future we all dreamed of. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward my heartworm treatment and medical care. Your kindness will help me live out the rest of my days feeling safe, healthy, and deeply loved.
