Support Charlie's Surgery

Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out for support for my best buddy and longtime companion, Charlie. He’s a spunky 11-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Charlie has been with me since I was 21, through every high and low. He’s made me laugh when I couldn’t find a reason to smile and reminded me to take better care of myself. I don’t know if I would still be here if it wasn’t for him.
Recently, Charlie was diagnosed with a large tumor in his liver. After multiple tests—including an ultrasound, biopsy, and chest X-rays—and consultations with a surgeon and oncologist, we’ve learned that surgery is his best shot. The most likely diagnosis is liver carcinoma, and thankfully, the prognosis after surgery is promising. With a successful procedure, Charlie could live another four wonderful years—happy, playful, and pain-free.
Charlie still has so much life left in him. He’s energetic, endlessly curious, and often mistaken for a much younger pup. He loves fetch, being chased, and removing squeakers from toys with surgical precision. He has a hilarious vendetta against the toilet and a deep mistrust of hats. He’s truly one of a kind.
The original quote for surgery was 11-14k, but with the help of friends I was able to find a more affordable option through CSU. The estimated cost of surgery at CSU is between $6,500–$8,000. My family and I have already spent about $3,000 on tests and consults, and I’m setting the goal at $10,000 to help cover the CT scan and the surgery itself. If the CT scan reveals that surgery isn’t possible, I will return any unused funds that exceed the scan’s cost.
Charlie is my heart dog—my sweet, silly, brave little guy. I just want to give him the chance he deserves to keep living the full, vibrant life he’s always known.
Any support, whether it’s a donation or a share, means the world.
Thank you for loving Charlie with me.
