Give Charles Ears

Baby Charles is almost a year old and has been diagnosed with profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. He has shown no response to hearing aids. My husband and I are both teachers and our insurance will not cover cochlear implants. He needs this to hear and speak and because we both teach, we make too much money for Medicaid but our insurance won’t pay for these either. We have also been working with Children’s Special Services and the Medicaid waiver, but haven’t gotten anywhere with any of them. They say hearing isn’t a disability. We need help!
