Give Cece a Second Chance at a Loving Life

My name is Katy. Sadly, a friend of mine found out that her long-lost aunt had passed away, and she was the only next of kin. Upon arriving at her aunt’s home to settle business, my friend discovered not only that her aunt had been living in terrible health and the house was in bad shape, but she also found that a dog had survived and been left alone in the outdoor yard for many weeks. A neighbor had been giving the dog what can be described most kindly as mean-hearted, negligent care. My friend asked for help, and I was able to rescue the sweetest little girl, named Cece. Upon her first visit to the veterinary hospital, it was discovered that although Cece is only 5 or 6, she will have to have many teeth pulled out due to severe decay. She has a tumor on a mammary gland that needs to also be removed. She was also skin and bones, with missing fur due to malnutrition and many ticks.

Cece is such a sweet and kind dog; she doesn’t bark at all and has a funny personality. She craves human affection. She deserves a second chance to know how loving good humans can really be. After being abandoned, she wants to be with people at all times. I miraculously found her the perfect family with a gentle momma, devoted, kind children, and a dad who is able to take her everywhere he goes, even work. The only problem is that they can’t take on Cece’s medical costs alone.
