On September 14th 2025, our lives changed forever. Our baby boy, Cashton Pressley, left this world and took our hearts with him. There are no words that can capture the pain of losing your child it is a grief deeper than anything we ever imagined.
Cashton’s life was filled with struggles that no child should ever face. Born with a rare missing 13th chromosome, he spent so much of his short life in the hospital, undergoing surgeries, relying on machines, and fighting battles most adults could never endure. He faced deafness, vision loss, and needed a trach and ventilator to survive.
But Cashton was more than his medical struggles. He was pure love. He was our miracle. His tiny hands wrapped around ours, his quiet strength, the way he fought with every ounce of his little body these are memories we will hold forever. Even through all the pain, he gave us moments of joy, of hope, of love so powerful it changed us.
Now our home is too quiet. His crib is empty. The toys that once brought him comfort now sit untouched. Our arms ache to hold him one more time, to kiss his sweet cheeks, to tell him once more how much we love him. The silence is crushing, and the ache in our hearts feels unbearable.
No parent should ever have to plan their child’s funeral. It is unfair, it is cruel, and it is something we never thought we would face. Alongside our grief, we are also met with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral expenses, and unpaid expenses that weren’t paid for Cashton, and the reality of needing time to grieve without worrying about how to survive day to day.
We are humbly asking for help during this impossible time. Donations will go toward giving Cashton the beautiful farewell he deserves, covering his final medical expenses, Funeral expenses and helping us as we try to breathe and heal in the middle of our heartbreak.
Every dollar, every prayer, and every share of this campaign helps us carry this heavy load. Your love and kindness mean more than words can ever express.
Cashton’s life may have been short, but it was powerful. He touched every soul who knew him. He showed us love in its purest form. And while our arms will forever be empty, our hearts will always be full of him.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever ours.
we will miss our warrior and our fighter.
Cashton Pressley
