Help Bryson Rebuild His Life After Liver Transplant & House Fire
Hi, my name is Chris, and I’d like to share the story of my cousin, Bryson Smith, and ask for your help in supporting him through what has become an unimaginable crisis.
At just 37 years old, Bryson has faced more hardships than most of us will ever know. He’s a devoted father of two amazing boys, a loving husband, and someone who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Despite years of personal struggle—including addiction—Bryson worked tirelessly toward sobriety and has been clean for many years. However, the lasting damage to his liver meant he eventually needed a transplant to save his life.
The Miracle of a Liver Transplant… Followed by Tragedy
At the start of January, Bryson finally received that life-saving transplant, and we were filled with hope for his new beginning. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, on the very day he was released from the hospital, his home was destroyed by a fire—and they had no insurance. After such a huge medical ordeal, losing everything in a fire has left Bryson, his wife, and their two sons devastated.
Why Your Help Is Vital
Between mounting medical bills for Bryson’s continued care and the sudden need to replace a lifetime’s worth of belongings (clothes, furniture, basic household essentials)—all while keeping a roof over the family’s head—this family is carrying a financial burden no one should have to face alone.
