Hello, my name is America Hernandez, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dear friend Cynthia Medina's dog, Brownie. Brownie is 10 years old and has been a beloved member of the Medina family since he was a puppy. He has grown alongside them, always offering unconditional love, loyalty, and comfort through life's ups and downs. To them, Brownie is truly family—a constant source of joy, laughter, and companionship.
Recently, Brownie was injured in a severe dog fight and has suffered devastating injuries. He has significant bite wounds on his left side and right hip, as well as potential nerve damage. Additionally, he has a severely dislocated left elbow that could not be repaired during initial treatment.
The veterinarians have already performed several procedures, including cleaning and repairing his wounds and attempting to reset his elbow; unfortunately, this was unsuccessful due to extensive ligament damage. After consulting with the veterinarians, we have learned that the only way to relieve his pain and give him a chance at a happy, healthy life is through the amputation of his left leg.
As you can imagine, each of these procedures, along with medications and aftercare, involves overwhelming costs. We are asking for support to help cover these life-saving treatments so that Brownie can have the best chance at recovery and a happy life ahead. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward his surgery and recovery.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this difficult time.
