Brock was picked up from animal control on 11/12 a few hours before his euthanasia deadline. While we knew we could only foster him for a week due to our cross country move with our 3 dogs, we had to take a chance on him to find him a loving family.
In one short week he has settled in beautifully - cuddled, gentle treat taker, leash etiquette, and very slowly meeting our dogs. As we work hard to try and find him a foster takeover before I head to California (I changed my flight to 11/23 to give him more time!) we know that there is no way we can leave if he will have to go back to kennels.
We are more than willing to take him to California with us and very slowly integrate him in with our other dogs, but the cost of transport is a large sum. So! These funds will go to transporting Brock to CA so we can continue his second chance at life IF we can’t find a foster takeover by this weekend. If we DO find a foster, then these funds will go directly to the rescue I am working with (country acres rescue). Country acres works so hard to keep dogs from being euthanized and provide life saving surgeries to their rescues.
Thank you for helping Brocky boy - he sends boxer butt wiggles and kisses your way. Xx
