Our dear friend BRID AC - renowned writer, radio legend, purveyor of cheese toasties and as art, and 'the guy with the goose' among so many other things - is going through a rough AF time and needs a bit of a bail out.

FROM THE MOUTH OF BRID:

"I was recently diagnosed with an auto immune disorder, which has massively affected my ability to work. That, plus unstable mental health, the collapse of the radio industry, immense stress, rising living costs, and unreliable minimum wage work, among other factors, means I've been struggling to buy food or pay for the bus for months, and I'm getting further into debt without seeing a way out.

My community, relationships, dog, and the little work I do have access to, are all here in London, so I'm desperately seeking somewhere to land for a few months – that way, I can improve my health, find more sustainable work (that I can do flexibly from home), and figure out a longer term plan.

I don't have enough income to pay standard London rent, so I need something free or very low cost. It would just be me (Eden is moving elsewhere) but ideally my tiny dog would be welcome to stay for half the time – he's very cute and well behaved. While I can't chip in much money, I can contribute some cooking and cleaning, and I'm very good at fixing things, if that feels helpful.

Just not having to stress about food makes a huge difference.
