Brandon Blount was recently arrested for child neglect in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and is currently in Hamilton County Jail on a $89,500 bond. His court date is not set until June. I do not know Brandon personally, but per the news story, he is a struggling father with custody of 7 children. The children were riding in the back of a U-Haul truck because they had been living in it.

I believe that this man is trying, needs help, and deserves a chance, and I am putting my faith in the Chattanooga community to try to give him that chance. All money donated will be going towards Brandon’s bond and a place for him to stay while he awaits his upcoming court date, and hopefully, he will be able to promptly reunite with his children.

I do not know the whereabouts of the children, if they are with family or in state custody. If I was in a secure financial spot, I would bond him out myself, but since I’m unable to, I hope you can find it in your heart to donate and share.
