Hi, my name is Hannah, and I’m fundraising for my sweet dog, Boon. Boon is a gentle, loving Pitbull/Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain Dog mix who has been my best friend and protector. She has the kindest soul—you’d never know she’s been through so much in her short life. Boon is my best friend and cross-country co-pilot. She loves being outdoors, keeping watch over our home, going for long drives, making new friends, and rolling around when she's extra happy with a big smile on her face.

But Boon can't do the things she loves most anymore. She developed a large and painful tumor on her back leg that's pushing right against the muscle. The vet says she needs surgery to remove it as soon as possible, but the cost of the procedure is more than I can afford on my own. Without this surgery, her pain will only get worse, and she won’t be able to enjoy the happy, carefree life every dog deserves.

Right now, Boon is on carprofen to try and manage the pain, but it’s not helping anymore. We also tried trazodone to keep her comfortable, but it made her sick. Seeing her struggle while knowing I can’t give her the relief she needs has been heartbreaking. Surgery is her only real chance to feel better.

Boon isn’t just special to me—she’s deeply loved by my daughter and everyone she has ever made friends with. My daughter has grown up with Boon by her side, and their bond is unbreakable. Boon is her cuddle buddy, protector, and best friend. Luna, our other sweet rescue, loves her so much. Our little family feels whole because of her.
