- Hi, I’m Landen. I’m a 17-year-old high school student and the owner of my pocket pitbull, Bolt. I got a call that a dog came running out of the woods, skinny and bare. He was limping on his back legs like he was abused and thrown out to die. We then called animal control, and they informed us that he had no chip and that if I didn’t take him, he would be put down because of being a pitbull. I had no choice but to take him, and I don’t regret it at all.
- It’s been around four months. Some days are better than others. His limp never went away, so he recently got checked out, and his femur was broken in two places and he has a torn ACL and now needs surgery. He also recently had a hernia surgery and was fixed. I’m doing everything I can, and all I want is for him to be happy again and walk and run without pain. Anything helps. Thank you.
