Hi, I’m Blueberry!

I’m a happy little French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I love playing, going on walks, cuddling with my favorite humans, and making everyone laugh with my goofy antics.

But there’s one thing I struggle with every single day…

Breathing.

I was born with a condition called Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS). Even though I try to keep up with the world, every breath takes extra effort. I snore loudly and gasp for breathe in my sleep, make noisy breathing sounds, and get out of breath much faster than I should. Things that should be easy like playing, walking, even sleeping are difficult for me.

After seeing a specialist, my Mama learned that I need surgery to open my airway so I can finally breathe the way every dog deserves. The surgery will improve my quality of life, reduce my risk of dangerous breathing emergencies, and let me enjoy being the playful puppy I’m meant to be.

My Mama has done everything possible to take care of me. She’s already paid for specialist consultations and is committed to giving me the best life, but the cost of surgery is more than she can manage right now.
