Hello and good morning,
My name is Anthony Baca and my dog is Bella.
On Saturday, Bella jumped over a fence trying to get to me. In a split second, everything changed. She tore her cruciate ligaments in both of her hind legs. The ER vet told me that without surgery, she will never walk properly again. She needs to get a TPLO surgery done, similar to an ACL surgery for humans.
The surgery and necessary care will cost over 8,000 dollars. It is more than I can afford on my own, but I would never give up on her.
Bella is not just my dog. She is my heart. She has been by my side during the lowest moments of my life. Her loyalty and unconditional love carried me through times when I did not know how I would get through on my own. Now she is the one who needs saving.
She is gentle, patient, and full of life. She loves attention, belly rubs, and simply being close to me. She deserves the chance to run again, to play again, and to live without pain.
I am humbly asking for any help you can give. Every single donation, no matter the amount, brings Bella closer to the surgery she desperately needs. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page. That alone could make all the difference.
I thank you, for even taking the time to read our story. Thank you for your help, either with a donation towards her care, or spreading the word.
All the best,
Anthony 'Chewy' Baca
