Help Bear Live the Best Life in His Final Days
Donation protected
“Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole”.
This world was blessed with Bear 8 years ago. Through these 8 years he has touched so many lives in so many great ways. He is passionate, energetic and full of love. His instincts know when someone needs a hug or affection. His life has not always been easy, but he’s lived the best life any dog could ask for
This week has been extremely difficult on both Bear and I. We found out he has Lymphoma. After extensive blood work and tests. Today we confirmed the extend of the cancer through radiology. His cancer has spread to his organs..
Though his body is failing him. He is still the same happy loving pup everyone has grown to know and love. I am faced with the very difficult decision of which direction to go from here. Though chemotherapy is an option, it is only to extend “maybe” up to 3-6 months of his life.. and at what cost? I don’t believe it is fair to him to have to go through those treatments. I fear it will strip him of any comfort I have left to offer through his final days..
I have done a lot of praying and have concluded the best thing I can do for him is to provide the most amazing life possible while we have the time to do so. With this, I have changed his diet to premium foods only. Steak, chicken and salmon. Fillet mignon and NY Strip being his all time favorite.
I am making this post to not only help raise funds to help pay for the medical costs to date. But also as an opportunity for each and every one of you to pitch in to help buy him a nice steak dinner. Or extra fancy treats/bones.
If you’d like to donate and request a special dinner for him. Please let me know and I will share that experience with you through photos. From this day forward everything I do for Bear is to give him the the best life possible through this time.
If you are unable to donate that is okay! Please send a message or prayer our way. I will be sure to reciprocate it to him.
Thank you everyone
