Help Beans cross over the rainbow bridge

Hello I would like to introduce Beans our 10 month old baby boy. We found Beans June 16, 2024. Beans was just a 3-4 weeks old kitten then and had suffered a broken leg when he was found under a car engine. We took him in loved and cared for him as part of our own family. Beans has been such a sweet, playful, and loving boy despite his little broken leg he still walks, jumps, and plays perfectly like his leg is not broken lol such a (silly boy). Two months later after doing a wellness check his vet did bloodwork and it was confirmed that he tested positive for feline leukemia. He had been doing great and staying strong, but the second week of March we had noticed he had been acting strange and just not being his usual self (very vocal), hiding, not eating as usual, no treats, and wasn’t breathing properly. I took him in to the emergency hospital on 3/16 they started bloodwork and 3D X-rays the vet confirmed he had fluid building up in his chest and a mass that could have caused the fluid to buildup. The vet treating him recommended to drain the fluid and send it out for testing to rule out any other underlying causes like FIP, or cancer at that point the vet recommended to start him on FIP treatment as soon as possible just in case this was the case for him to which I did while we waited for the lab results. Unfortunately, I received a call confirming that his results tested positive for cancer in his little chest and right away I made an appointment with an Oncologist. After our appointment with the Oncologist their prognosis was not hopeful as he is dealing with not 1 but 2 terrible diseases . It’s with my deepest regret to say that we have to let him go. He’s been deteriorating and he’s quality of life is declining by the day. I would like to ask for your help as financially for me it’s been hard keeping up with the most recent vet bills. This process has been very difficult for me as he’s been my first kitten to ever take care of I never thought I would love a kitten so much as I love him.
