Give BB a Chance to Run and Play Again
Donation protected
Almost 10 years ago, I brought BB, my 9-year-old Jack Russell, home for the first time. She was so curious and full of love. The whole car ride home she was licking me and doing crazy excited cartwheels in her seat. :) She was severely underweight and had come from a home that wasn't treating her the best. All she wanted was to snuggle and play and be where I was. She was FAST and HUNGRY and would run circles in the living room whenever she got excited. She loved hiking and playing ball at the lake. She loved going to the dog park. Most of all she loved me. And I love her. She has always been there for me whether she knew it or not and now I want so badly to be there for her.
She has very suddenly been showing symptoms of a mystery illness. She can no longer run, jump, play, she can't even get on the couch... we have spent days on end at the vet. We've run tests, tried treatments, medicines, baths, etc with no recovery in sight. Many diagnoses have been explored but many of them cannot be tested for and/or have been ruled out. We are running out of potential ideas, but I am not ready to give up on her and I would do anything to help her live out the years she SHOULD have left. One option we have to inform better treatment is an MRI. I would approve it in a heartbeat if it was within my means, but it's not. The procedure costs up to $3000 and I am turning to my community for help. Anything you can pitch in would be an extreme help in finding answers for BB and potentially making her more comfortable if not cured. I'm thankful to my friends and family who have been here for me through this now and I just need your help to bring her home.
Thank you.
