Tim is someone who makes people feel like they have known him forever. As the owner of Gillett's Martial Arts, Tim has built more than a gym. Tim has built a community rooted in service, compassion, and showing up when people need help most. Even in the short time Sally has known Tim, Tim has been there in a way that left a lasting impression. Time and again, Tim rallied members of the gym to volunteer, asking them to get up before dawn, work in the summer heat, stand in the pouring rain, and tackle whatever heavy job needed to be done. Tim was the person Sally knew she could call. Tim would show up, bring others with him, and give time without ever asking for anything in return.

Tim also helped collect toys for Christmas events, making sure children in the community experienced the joy of the holidays. Tim’s generosity has touched countless lives, often quietly and without recognition. Sherry has been right beside Tim, sharing that same spirit of service and compassion. Now Tim needs that same community to stand beside him. Tim recently suffered a stroke and is currently in the hospital, and this has been an incredibly difficult time for Tim, Sherry, and everyone who cares about them. This fundraiser is being created to help cover medical bills and support Tim as Tim begins the road to recovery. Tim has given so much to others, and now it is our turn to give back.
