Hello everyone. I would like to ask your assistance for my basketball coach, Paul Honda. Coach Paul recently got robbed and beat up by 3 guys while writing a story in his car after a game (Coach Paul is a sports reporter for Honolulu Advertiser). He got his car stolen (probably disassembled at a chop shop), computer, cell phone, basketballs for practice, camera to record games as well as lots of other personal belongings.
Paul has been my basketball coach for the past 6 years, pretty much when I started playing basketball. He has taught me so much about the game but more importantly, about being a good citizen. He is one of the most passionate, unselfish and generous persons I know.
He holds practice almost every day when we don’t have games. He never charges to be in his H1 Thunder basketball club. In fact, many times, he pays for uniforms and league fees out of his own pocket for our players who cannot afford to pay. He also provides rides to practice and games for anyone who doesn’t have a ride.
I humbly ask for your support for Coach Paul who has given so much time, dedication and support to help me and my teammates as well as countless players over the past 10+ years. Please help my coach by donating anything you can to help him get back on his feet (Coach Paul needs a car, cellphone, camera for filming games, etc). Thank you so much.
