At 80 years old, Ms. Mary still wakes up before sunrise each day to work as a hospital housekeeper in the NICU, as she has for the past 46 years. She is punctual and dependable and gives it all of her effort. A loving widow and dedicated church member, she has spent her entire life serving others with quiet strength, grace, and resilience. But instead of enjoying her golden years, she is still working long hours to pay off the mortgage on her modest home, while she fully supports and cares for her disabled nephew.

Her body is tired, although her spirit remains strong. But after a lifetime of giving, it’s time for her to receive some of the love she’s poured into the world.
