Marnie and Steve are friends and part of the blue family. Steve served the Chicago PD and retired (like so many others are) and relocated to Texas. There has never been a time that someone has asked them for help that they haven't help. They have been there for Blue Families to support them without being asked. On April 5th after not feeling well for two weeks Marnie took Steve to ER not once but twice. He was admitted the 2nd time with sepsis and pneumonia. On April 12th Steve underwent surgery to drain the fluid off his lung and clean off the infection. He is finally home however he has a long recovery. It will be at least 6 weeks before Steve can return to work. He only has 2 weeks off with pay. Let's show Steve our thanks for all his years of service to Chicago PD and help him and Marnie through this rough patch. Their sister in blue..Deb Pyznarski
