I don't think there is a person alive who has met my mom and has not been blessed by it. She is the most selfless,  giving and servant-hearted person I know. I am so proud to have her as my mom! She would never ask for help, which is why I am even more insistent to ask for her. I know God will provide and I am excited to see Him work.
Georgia McCurdy has been diagnosed with a very aggressive Pancreatic Cancer. She wasn't given much hope by the doctors and procedures here in the U.S. As most people know, Pancreatic Cancer has a low chance of survival. She is in Tijuana Mexico at the Oasis of Hope Hospital now for her first round of treatments. She is receiving Contreras Alternative Cancer Treatment (C-ACT) that has proven successful for many others, but not legal in the U.S. The C-ACT is a multifaceted approach to attack cancer cells from a physical, emotional and spiritual level while stimulating the immune system to alleviate the toxic risk to the healthy cells. We have been offered hope for her Pancreatic Cancer and we are going to grab on tight to that and let God lead us.
The one down side to this hope we have is that insurance, of course, will not help with these out-of-country medical expenses. They will, therefore, be asked to pay at least $50,000 out of pocket. This is where your generosity can greatly bless a woman who is more than deserving of love and support! Every dollar helps, so don't feel pressured to give more than you think you can. It is the love behind the giving that will move my mom the most.
