What better way to mark Cruz’s 2-year surgery anniversary than by signing up for the 10K walk again this year—Saturday 13th September! ‍♂️

This will be our third walk, and we can’t wait to do it all over again.

Our boy Cruz was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis and underwent skull surgery on 24th August 2023, at just 11 weeks old—2 years ago today. It’s a feeling no parent should ever have to experience. I’ll never forget pacing up and down the hospital corridors, praying with everything in me that he’d be safe and back in our arms soon.

On top of that, Cruz was also diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder and is a carrier of the BCL11B gene. We had no idea how his future would look, but he amazes us every single day—thriving in his own little ways. We honestly couldn’t be prouder.

Every year we try to give back to the hospital, as the care and support Cruz received was nothing short of outstanding. ✨
