Help My Mom Keep Her Home
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my mom. She’s in a really difficult place right now — already behind on her mortgage — and at serious risk of losing her home. On top of that, she’s struggling to catch up on past-due utility bills that have piled up during this hardship.
We’re trying to raise $8,500 by July 15th to cover two months of mortgage payments ($5,200) and bring her up to date on critical utilities ($3,300). If she can’t catch up in time, she could lose the home she’s worked so hard to hold onto.
My mom is 64 years old. She’s limited in the kind of work she can do, and she also helps care for my disabled brother most of the time. She’s emotionally and physically stretched thin — doing her best every day — but she simply can’t keep up alone.
We’re actively searching for ways to help her regain financial stability, and we’re open to any resources, job leads, or creative ideas you may have. Your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or advice — is deeply appreciated.
My mom is the kind of person who has always shown up for others — offering what she could, when she could, without ever asking for anything in return. She’s poured her heart into her family, her animals, and her home. Now, she’s heartbroken and ashamed to be in this position, but the truth is: she needs her community now more than ever.
This home is her safe haven. It’s where she’s built memories with her children and where she cares for her beloved animals. Losing it would be devastating.
If you can contribute anything — large or small — it brings us closer to keeping her safe and stable. If you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this campaign or sending along any helpful suggestions.
If you’re able to contribute through this GoFundMe, we are deeply grateful — every bit helps bring stability and peace of mind back to my mom. And if you prefer to support in another way or reach out directly, please feel free to contact me. I welcome any kindness, suggestions, or support, in whatever form it may come.
Thank you so much for your love, compassion, and support. It truly means the world to us. More than you know.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sraddha, her loving daughter
