We are reaching out with heavy hearts and trembling hope to share the story of our little angel, Ayeza.

Ayeza was born in the breathtaking but remote mountains of Gilgit, Pakistan. Her mother—a highly educated, dedicated school principal—balanced her career and family life with grace and passion. After years of struggling with infertility and unsuccessful treatments, Ayeza’s parents had left everything in the hands of God. And then, against all odds, a miracle happened. Ayeza was conceived naturally, filling her parents’ lives with joy and gratitude beyond words.

Throughout the pregnancy, everything seemed perfectly normal. All scans and checkups gave no sign of any abnormality. But just days before delivery, Ayeza’s mother experienced complications and was rushed to the hospital, where she gave birth to her first and only child.

Within moments of Ayeza’s birth, it became clear something was wrong.

In the isolated region of Gilgit, where medical facilities are extremely limited, doctors quickly referred the newborn to Islamabad. It was there that her parents received the heartbreaking news: their daughter was born with a hole in her heart. Soon after, another diagnosis followed—Down Syndrome.

The news shattered her parents. But they did not give up.

They vowed that this precious gift—born after so many tears and prayers—would be given every chance at life. Ayeza’s mother resigned from her job to care for her full-time, devoting herself entirely to her daughter's complex medical needs.

From Islamabad, the family travelled all the way to Karachi for advanced treatment at Aga Khan Hospital—one of the best but most expensive hospitals in the country. After months of evaluations, doctors confirmed that Ayeza needs open-heart surgery as soon as possible.

The estimated cost of her treatment and surgery is £10,000 (British Pounds)—a staggering amount for her family, who have already exhausted their savings in previous treatments and travel.
