This is my 7-year-old granddaughter’s cat, Aurelius. He is two years old, and today he was taken to the vet after being sick for two days, refusing to eat, drink, and being extremely lethargic and in pain. After thorough testing, they found a foreign body he ingested.

While undergoing emergency surgery, the doctor realized that some of his organs were shutting down. This became a more detailed surgery requiring him to be transported to another ER hospital where he will be monitored closely.

The bill is already at $4,800 and still going.
