Give Ashley's Family a Fresh Start After Tragedy
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Danielle Quick...however this is not about me. My best friend (sister), her husband and their 4 children have recently lost their home and all belongings to a house fire. Everyone goes through things; some individuals get hit harder than others. Ashley and her family (4 doggies included) were having a sleepover at a friend's house. Ashley received a phone call around 2 AM on 11/3/2024 from the Montgomery fire department asking if they reside at such and such address. Ashley responds with "yes, why?" The fire department proceeded to tell her that their house was aggressively in flames, and they are working to put it out as they speak! Ashley then ran to her husband to wake him and state that they needed to leave as it is an emergency. The friend they were staying the night with was generous enough to keep an eye on the kids for her so she could go to the scene. Upon arriving, they were devastated to see that all their memories and sentimental values are now ash.
This family has persevered through obstacle after obstacle, and it is just awful to see them go through something as tragic and overwhelming as losing EVERYTHING that they have worked form, to call THEIRS. I have known Ashley for almost 16 years now and she has ALWAYS worked her butt off to earn everything she HAD. They don't go out searching for help let alone ask for help much if at all, but this is a time where it is really needed. This is an obstacle that I don't see them getting through on their own, without the help of our community to pull through and assist as much as we can.
Starting out is never easy for anyone, starting OVER is probably the HARDEST thing anyone can do.
With that being said, any donation would help at this time. If we as a community could pull together and gather our loose change, maybe we could give this family a fighting chance at a new start that's not ROCK BOTTOM.
Thank you for at least reading this story and sharing it with other's if anything!
