Hi I'm Kate and this is Argo. He’s 8 years old, and he’s our best friend.

If you know us, you know our dogs are our family. Argo has been there through everything! Including the quiet days, the hard days, and especially the days when something feels wrong and he somehow knows before we even say it. He’s steady, loyal, and always the first one to check on us.

We recently found out that Argo has cancer. The good news is that surgery is an option, and it gives him a real chance. The hard part is the cost. The total cost is around $13,000. We're just asking for some help.

The past year has been a season of hit after hit for us. After going through major surgery myself last year, we’re still recovering financially and now we’re facing this. I’m not someone who likes asking for help. In fact, this is one of the hardest things for me to post.

But Argo is only 8. He still has so much life in him. His two dog siblings adore him. We adore him. And we’re not ready to give up on him without trying everything we can.
