On Halloween afternoon, my father, Anthony Ruiz, passed away suddenly after finding out just a week earlier that he had a rare cancer. Our family is completely heartbroken and still in shock. Everything happened so fast that we never had the chance to prepare — emotionally or financially.

Anthony was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who gave so much of himself to others. He was kind, funny, and deeply loved by everyone who knew him. Losing him so suddenly has left an emptiness in our hearts and a burden we can’t carry alone.

Right now, we’re struggling to come up with the funds to lay him to rest. We just want to give him a proper burial and the goodbye he deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us during this incredibly painful time.
